ICICI Bank Cancels 13 Lakh Credit Cards

ICICI Bank known for its aggressive lending and new age banking practices was caught on the wrong foot as its Direst Sales Associates and Agents bought in Delinquent customers which has led the Bank to rework its strategy, especially on the Credit Cards front.

In Dec-2009, ICICI Bank had 50.78 Lakh Credit Card Customers and it was on the list of Top Credit Card Issuers in India. However the number shrunk by a whopping 13 Lakh to 37.70 Lakh at the end of Dec-2010 as per RBI data released to CardBhai :-)

Is Cardbhai against ICICI bank ?? or you are paid to talk HDFC ??
Why is it Card bhai being a biased site for information. I wanted to learn some facts and understood you are totally biased website either promoted by HDFC or have got a grevience against ICICI. my experiances with both have been excellent. Yes every body make mistakes and are sadly commenting.

Yes, ICICI deserves the Trashing and is evident from the fact. If you are an ICICI Bank Lawyer yes please go sue me, I am willing to face and standby every word written in this post.

icici is one of the most idiotic banks ever - untrained customer service, worthless bank agents and pathetic employees who man the counters. however, very surprisingly, they kind a tried to ramp up their reward program in 2010, and hdfc is having exact the opposite trend. just saw, for hdfc signature card , you get 2 points for 150 rs and 1 air mile = 2.5 miles !! ha ha what a joke. stopping using hdfc and moving to amex. icici still languish, but right now hdfc seems lost their mind in terms of reward program.
